NiO/Co<sub>2</sub>P Nanosheets with Heterogeneous Structure as a Multifunctional Catalyst for Overall Water Splitting

Exploring efficient and low-cost multifunctional electrocatalysts is a prerequisite for the development of energy storage converting technology. In this work, NiO/Co 2 P nanosheets (NiO/Co NSs) with heterogeneous structure were investigated through hydrothermal method, annealing phosphating processes. Considering synergistic effect between NiO Co P, we demonstrated excellent electrocatalytic properties NSs OER HER. By optimizing electronic as well high specific surface area nanosheet presence large number mesopores, more active sites are exposed efficiency improved, thus providing performance. Specifically, can reach 108 207 mV at current density 10 mA cm −2 in alkaline medium HER OER. And it requires voltage 1.57 V to overall water splitting. conclusion, study demonstrates critical contribution structures promote open new perspectives designing catalysts.
